Small habits. Big difference. Here’s how to keep your pieces looking refined, day after day.

A Note on Materials (Read First)

Our jewelry uses 4 µm (micron) 18K gold plating over 925 sterling silver (nickel-free), a thicker standard chosen for a natural gold look at a fraction of the price.

In the industry, “gold vermeil” (pronounced ver-MAY) is a common term for gold over silver; all plated finishes will soften with wear over time. With the right care and maintenance, your pieces can last significantly longer.

Daily Care Routine (30-second steps)

  • After skincare → put on jewelry

    Put jewelry on after skincare, SPF, and perfume.

  • Wipe Dry

    After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.

  • Store Separately

    Store dry, separately (pouch or compartment) to minimize friction.

  • Quick Rinse (optional)

    If needed, quick lukewarm water rinse, then pat dry thoroughly.

Do / Don’t (At A glance)

  • Do

    • Rinse briefly with lukewarm water when needed; dry fully.
    • Use a soft cloth or very soft brush for gentle surface cleaning.
    • Keep pieces separate in storage to avoid rubbing.

  • Don't

    • Soap (even mild), ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive cloths/pastes, chemical dips (silver/gold), alcohol/acetone.
    • Prolonged water exposure (showers, pools, hot tubs).
    • Workouts or high-friction activities while wearing pieces.
    • Direct contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, or household cleaners.

Cleaning Guide (At Home)

  1. Assess: If it’s light surface dullness, a dry soft cloth is usually enough.
  2. Rinse (optional): For residue, a very quick lukewarm water rinse.
  3. Dry: Pat dry completely with a lint-free cloth. No heat tools.
  4. Polish: Finish with a clean, dry microfiber cloth (no polishing compounds).
  5. Store: Return to a dry, separate pouch or compartment.

Avoid soaps and chemical cleaners; they can accelerate finish wear on plated surfaces.

Warranty Tie-In (Care Supports Coverage)

Your routine helps pieces look their best and aligns with our warranty.

  • Covered: manufacturing defects and DOA (report within 7 days of delivery), and premature plating wear under normal use (within 12 months of purchase).
  • Not covered: wear & tear, damage from misuse/accidents, water or chemical exposure, improper storage, lost/stolen items, unauthorized repairs, or finish changes related to skin pH or environment.
